I was quite surprised when I read the email and saw the sender's name. It was from a 40-year icon in Kansas City's news community — Bill Grady at KMBZ. And he wanted me to call him!
A half hour later, the interview was over. Mr. Grady's questions had ranged from how I got into wildlife art to what I planned to do after the Night Watchman project was funded. During the entire conversation, Bill was very pleasant and put me at ease from the start. Thanks for that!
Before we hung up, he told me he was planning on airing the interview during the Drive Time slot this coming Monday morning. I'll be tuned it. I hope you will, too.
